TPO Main Tournament Certified

TILT Pinball Open – Main Tournament:

The qualification phase consists of ten (10) rounds of 4 players group matchplay. In each round, players will play two (2) games: one from the "fast" and one from the "long" category. This means each player will play a total of 20 games during qualifications. Scoring for each game is as follows: 7–5–3–1.

After the qualification rounds, the top 24 players advance to the playoffs. The top 8 players receive a bye round. Tiebreaker matches will be played if necessary to determine advancement or bye positions.

In the playoffs, players are divided into groups of four. The top player in each group selects the machine bank.

Each machine bank consists of three machines: one from the Classics, one from the WPC, and one from the Stern category. A player may select the same machine bank only once during the entire tournament.

Games are scored as follows based on finishing position: 4–2–1–0.

If needed, a tiebreaker game will be played if it affects progression to the next Round.

The playoffs are played entirely in this way.

The tournament has a Certified status with a 250% WPPR value.
